- iPad Pro 10.5-in
- iPad Pro 11-in
The KITS collaborator is not compatible with iPad Mini devices.
There are significant differences between the iPad and iPad Pro such as size, weight, camera specs and display dimensions. Take a look at Apple’s iPad comparison chart to find the right model for you.
Capacity
32 GB? 256 GB? Deciding on how many gigabytes depends on how you will be integrating your iPad into your daily workflow. The more high-capacity content you want to access, the more storage you will need. With KITS, you have access to manufacturer catalogs that can be synced and download to your device. Remember that the more catalogs you download, the more storage is required on your iPad. If you’re looking to go big with the iPad Pro, the minimum of 64GB on the iPad will be plenty for managing content in KITS Mobile.

Wi-Fi vs. Wi-Fi + Cellular
You can purchase either an iPad with Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular. While the size and style of the device will be the same, you will notice a small SIM card slot for cellular capabilities. Again, deciding between these two options depends on your personal preferences.
In terms of using the iPad for KITS Mobile, certain features require a strong and stable wi-fi connection to avoid any interruptions. However, a great feature of KITS is that you can use the app without a wi-fi connection. You will only need a wi-fi connection for the following features:
1) Sharing projects with other KITS users and accepting projects
2) Sending quick sheets and renderings to your client
3) Syncing catalogs
If you spend most of your time around a wi-fi connection, either at home or at work, an iPad with wi-fi only may be a good fit.
For our KITS Mobile users, we suggest an iPad 128GB. The size is perfect for a sales rep on-the-go and with 128GB you will have lots of storage for renderings of your projects and manufacturer catalogs.
