How to Modify a Quote

 

Pending quotes you created can be viewed and modified before finalizing in the order fulfillment process.

Before starting, make sure:

  • You are logged into SnapTracker.
  • Your user account has shopping enabled.
  • You have access to at minimum one customer with shopping enabled.
  • You have access to My Quotes screen.
  • You have a minimum of one Quote created.

This post outlines how to view and modify quotes within SnapTracker.

 

1. In the header section, click My Account.

 

2. Click My Quotes.

 

3. Alternatively, in the header section, click the Cart icon.

 

4. In the Cart side panel, click My Quotes.

 

The My Quotes screen displays.

Note: Filters may be shown or hidden by default based on your user settings.

 

Observe the fields on My Quotes screen:

  • Quote Name – The name of the quote.
  • Description – A description added to the quote.
  • Project Ref. No. – The project reference number associated to the cart in the Checkout screen (optional).
  • Last Update Date – The date the quote was last updated.
  • Status – The status of the quote.
  • Customer – The Customer the quote is created for.
  • Items in Cart – The number of items in the quote.
  • Currency – The currency the quote is created in (if applicable).
  • Total – The total value of the products in the quote.

 

5. On the My Quotes screen, click a hyperlinked quote name.

 

The Cart screen displays.

 

You can add/edit product or add additional information to a quote depending on your user settings. Some of the additional information you can add to a quote includes:

  • Add an ad-hoc item to your cart. This is a line that can be created for a non-Standard product.

  • Add or edit a note for the selected line item. Once added, a note icon displays beside the line in your cart.

  • Upload additional product to the quote through an Excel or SIF file, or upload attachments to the quote for additional information.

 

6. Add product to the active quote, by using the Inquiry screens or additional upload options.

7. To update the quantity of a product, in the Quantity text box enter a quantity and click Update.

 

8. For additional functions, click the More Actions icon.

 

Observe the following functions:

  • View My Carts – Redirect to My Carts screen.
  • Insert Line – Manually add an ad-hoc item to your cart. This is a line that can be created for a non-Standard product.
  • Add/Edit Line Note – Add or edit a note for the selected line item. Once added, a note icon displays beside the line in your cart.

 

9. To add an ad-hoc line to the cart, click Insert Line.

The Insert Line pop-up displays.

Enter the desired information and click Create.

Note: Description is a required fields.

 

A success message displays and an ad-hoc line is added to the cart.

 

To add a note, you first need to select a line. The same note can be added to multiple lines at one time, simply select all lines you want to add the note to.

 

10. To add a Note, click Add Note.

The Add Line Note screen displays.

Enter the note information in the Enter a Line Note text box and click Create.

 

A success message displays. An icon displays beside the selected item, indicating there is a note. If you hover over the icon, the note information displays.

 

11. To edit or delete a note, click More Actions, then click Add/Edit Line Note.

The Add Line Note pop-up displays. Make any necessary changes, then click Delete or Update to save the changes.

 

12. You can continue with additional modifications, or assign the cart to a User for acceptance.
