How to Change the Number of Results Returned?

id you know that you can change the number of results/records returned when running an inquiry in SnapTracker? This can be particularly useful when you have a large database because by default only 10 results are returned and displayed on the page.

The default number of results returned is set up at the User level. As the administrator, you can either set it up for the Users, or you can give Users the access to update it.

To change the number of results returned for your Users, you need to go to the User Profile screen (accessed through Utilities > User Setup >User. Select the Profile tab).

First select a User, then in the Default No. of Results Returned field, enter the number of results returned you want the User to have.

Click Update.

In this case, the User will have 50 results returned and displayed instead of 10.

Alternatively, you may also consider giving your Users access to the My Profile page, so that they can decide for themselves how many results they’d like to see at once.

To assign User access to My Profile, you need to go to the User screen (accessed through Utilities > User Setup).

Select the User you want to grant access, then select Yes to Update Profile.

Click Update.Results returned0

The next time the User logs in, My Profile will be available in the top links section. He/She can change the number in Default No. of Results Returned according to their personal preference, then click Update to save the changes.
