How to Edit Ad-Hoc Lines and Notes in a Cart

 

Within the Cart Screen, you can add and edit lines with ad-hoc product added from Excel files, SIF Files, or manual inputs.

Before starting, make sure:

  • You are logged into SnapTracker.
  • Your user account has shopping enabled.
  • You have access to a minimum of one customer with shopping enabled.
  • The correct Customer is selected.
  • You have a cart created with ad-hoc product in it.

This post outlines how to edit ad-hoc lines and notes in carts.

 

1. In the header section, click the Cart icon.

The Cart side panel displays.

 

2. To view the active cart details, in the Cart side panel, click Go to Cart.

The Cart screen displays.

 

Observe the Cart screen.

Ad-hoc lines are indicated by the hyperlinked “Ad hoc” in the Standard column, instead of a Standard.

Any options/finishes added when a SIF file was used to create the line display by clicking View More.

 

3. To edit the respective ad-hoc line, click Ad hoc.

 

The Insert Line pop-up displays.

 

Observe the Insert Line pop-up:

  • Model No.: The product model number from the Manufacturer of the ad hoc item.
  • Man.: The Manufacturer of the product.
  • (Required) Quantity – New/Stock: The number of units of product desired.
  • Unit Price: The price per unit of product.
  • (Required) Description: A description of the product.
  • Note: Any additional notes for the product.

 

4. Edit the desired fields and click Update.

Note: You can also delete the line by clicking Delete.

 

The Insert Line screen closes and a success message displays indicating the changes were made.

 

5. To view a note, hover over any available Note icon.

To edit the note, click the Note icon to view the full note.

6. Edit the note field as desired and click Update.

Note: You can also delete a note by clicking Delete.

 

The Add Line Note screen closes and a success message displays indicating the changes were made.
