Transaction Type Codes
The Transaction Type defines the type of movement that was completed. Each time an item is moved within SnapTracker, a Transaction Type is assigned. You can use Transaction Type to understand an item’s movements, provided that the same Serial Number is maintained.
This post outlines each Transaction Type and Description in SnapTracker.
Transaction Type | Transaction Type Description |
AA | Add Asset Item |
AL | Add Like Item |
TA | Transfer Asset Item |
TL | Transfer Like Item |
DA | Deliver Asset Item |
DL | Deliver Like Item |
CA | Change Standard – Asset Item |
CL | Change Standard – Like Item |
MA | Mass Asset Add |
NS | Issue New Serial Number |
TA | Change Condition – Asset Item |
TL | Change Condition – Like Item |
*Note that Change Condition is considered a transfer, therefore, the Transaction Type for Change Condition are the same as the Transaction Types for Transferring an item.
The Item Transaction History screen outlines all the movements of an item with the Types. You can filter the information further using the Transaction Type.
