Transaction Type Codes

The Transaction Type defines the type of movement that was completed. Each time an item is moved within SnapTracker, a Transaction Type is assigned. You can use Transaction Type to understand an item’s movements, provided that the same Serial Number is maintained.

This post outlines each Transaction Type and Description in SnapTracker.

Transaction Type  Transaction Type Description
AA Add Asset Item
AL Add Like Item
TA Transfer Asset Item
TL Transfer Like Item
DA Deliver Asset Item
DL Deliver Like Item
CA Change Standard – Asset Item
CL Change Standard – Like Item
MA Mass Asset Add
NS Issue New Serial Number
TA Change Condition – Asset Item
TL Change Condition – Like Item

*Note that Change Condition is considered a transfer, therefore, the Transaction Type for Change Condition are the same as the Transaction Types for Transferring an item.

The Item Transaction History screen outlines all the movements of an item with the Types. You can filter the information further using the Transaction Type.
